This “spuckie” sticker from the 1980s features a black and white Xeroxed image of two women kicking and punching the air in a humorous yet threatening way. Spuckies are small, handmade stickers made from lightweight paper that are stuck onto a surface by licking the back rather than using an adhesive backing, they are usually hand drawn or Xeroxed black and white image. The lack of complex or expensive materials provided an easy alternative to other methods of sticker making. This sticker threatens perpetrators of sexual and domestic violence as well as street harassers. The sticker displays women as strong and ready to defend themselves in the face of danger.
